I have enjoyed everything I have read from Marni Mann, and Signed was no exception. I was addicted once I started reading it and didn't want to put it down. This one was sexy and captivating and I think readers will like it as much as I did.

James is used to everything that fame brings, but after a bad breakup she is trying to focus on her career. So when she has a one night stand with the sexy and older Brett, she has no idea how much her life is about to change. When she finds herself in need of help with a scandal, Brett just might be the only one that can save her.

I'll be honest and say that the only reason this one wasn't a five star read for me was the characters got on my nerves a few times here. That being said though, I still loved them for one another despite all their flaws. That is what made them easier to relate to for me, even when they were frustrating. James was young and at times her immaturity definitely showed. Brett was quick to react at times and I felt like they both needed to learn how to communicate better though. I still really liked them and the chemistry between them was undeniable. They were super hot together but there was so much more than just the attraction and physical for these two. I really couldn't get enough of them and even with the drama and angst, I didn't want to stop reading.

Overall, another great read from Marni Mann. I enjoyed the story and really felt like these two were meant for one another. I haven't been disappointed by Marni Mann with anything I have read from her, and I can't wait to see what she writes next! I would love to see more in this world as I am not ready to leave it behind!

10/10 Recommend!

Signed - Marni Mann
Book 1 of 4 in the Agency Series

Main Characters - James & Brett

James is a Hollywood star, Brett is a high profile Entertainment Lawyer. Their paths cross and they enjoy one hot night of SPICE....
Fast forward and James ends up in a bit of hot water with a Hollywood scandal that there is no coming back from. Her whole team abandons her, except for one who brings her to the only Entertainment Lawyer he knows can fix this situation, Brett.
He knows not to mix business with pleasure, and he is just enough of an ass to make James want his help and nothing more.... until they both can't help it.

Marni Mann blows the spice factor right out of the water.... Holy hotness!
She delivers an epic story mixed with just the right amount of fire.
For my first Marni Mann book, I am anxious to get through her whole back list already!

I couldn’t get past that she was 18. I’m all for age gap but not when they’re still teenagers

This book was really good! I read it in one sitting. I enjoyed the characters and the level of drama/angst. I will say that it went a little fast for my liking. It skipped several periods of time, so I didn't totally feel the building of their relationship.

Wow. What a ride! An emotional journey that took us from LA to Miami. From the being on top of the world, to circling the drain as everything is taken away with one cruel act. Am actress with nothing left to loose, and the agent she can't stop thinking about. How will they manage to stay away when all they want is to hit the sheets? What a journey Marni Mann takes us on in this brilliant five star read. A must read for anyone who enjoys the journey life can take you on, from rock bottom to a love that transforms. Simply breathtaking.

This book had been on my TBR for a while because I enjoyed Marni’s Dalton Family series, which I read last year, but to be honest, this story fell short compared to the others. It was pretty predictable and I kinda wish there had been some sort of actual third act conflict.

Welp, read this in a single day… Brett and James story was full of twists and turns. Battles they had to face together and apart. The spice was hot. Can’t wait to continue this series.

Marni was a new to me author I kept putting off on my TBR list until I saw FitTeacherRachel recommended her on Instagram. I know if Rachel recommends something, I need to read it. And this was no exception. I loved this book. The steamy smut scenes were top tier. And I loved the banter and angst of their relationship.
The only thing I didn't fully like about the book was the choice of "James" as the FMCs name. I absolutely love unique, gender neutral names for characters that can be used as either the male or female characters (think Blake, Morgan, Peyton, Jesse/Jessie, Nick/Nicky, etc) but to me James feels firmly like a guy's name, so it tended to take me out of the story a bit.

Other than that, I really loved this book, and can't wait to read more from Marni.
