DFN at 45%
Just simply wasn't interested in the case or the characters at this point.
The team is huge and I lost track of who is who tbh.
The series started absolutely beautifully but I think it lost the essence along the way

Easily my favorite book out of the series (besides the first one, that is my absolute favorite). I'm happy with how the series ended, and I liked that it wrapped up a few of the things that had been mentioned in the other books.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the ARC of this book in exchange for a honest review.

I was absolutely excited to read this book. I have loved loved all the previous books in this series. They were all very well written, entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat. This was an amazing conclusion to a wonderful series. I would advise that one reads the books in order as it will give you a greater understanding of the characters.

I am so sad to see this series end and I hope that she will write more books soon.

I know I said the third book was my favorite, but I can’t leave my absolute favorite character—Brandon Eddison—in the dust.
SpoilerFor 25 years, his sister has been missing, and now they’re connecting the dots to her disappearance, alongside discovering the disappearance of many other girls, who took the place of a daughter who died to leukemia. A deranged father, taking and sickening these girls every two years, killing, burying, moving on…
I was crying a lot in this book, especially because while we were saying goodbye to
SpoilerFaith Eddison
we were also, saying goodbye to our beloved FBI team. This book series has been genuinely amazing, and I am so upset for it to have come to an end. These characters and the found family, it is all so amazing and wholesome.
