I really enjoyed this story, until Grant's dark secret is revealed. I really could have done without that unwelcome and mostly unsavory revelation.

This was one of my anticipated reads of 2014 after having read and fallen in love with the other Front and Center reads, and my god, Tawna Fenske never disappoints with another hilarious romance featuring the third (Or was it fourth?) Patton sibling, Grant Patton and Kelli's (Fiancee for Hire) wedding organizer friend, Anna Keebler.

Hello, Mr. Perfect.
Most of the books I've been reading features male leads that are just so wild and bad, and exhudes the dominant alpha male feel. Though Grant is basically an alpha male and is pure deliciousness and everything masculine, he's an absolute sweetheart and definitely the "go-to" guy in times of need. Althroughout the book, he's basically a boy scout stuck in a grown man. Not only is he a soldier with badass military counter-intelligence skills (Meaning, he can get you to spill your deepest darkest secrets... immediately), he's also got an amazing eye for photography. Grant Patton is obviously the whole package -- He's gorgeous, smart, a total sweetheart and an artist at that. If only guys like him really existed (Hah!)

She's a wild, wild one.
If you've read the previous book (Fiancee for Hire), you'd figure out how much of a wild girl Anna is. A total burst of creativity, and a girl with no filter. Originally, I thought she would be type of girl who was kind of naive and very happy-go-lucky but instead, she comes off really blunt and pretty much straight to the point when it comes to everything. I couldn't relate to her confidence though, but I loved it, because she was just so similar to her friend, Kelli, since they used to be roomies back in college. On the other hand, she was predictable and at the same time, she wasn't. There were times I could figure out her character, but her bluntness was like a shield to how her mind truly works.

Twists and turns, and dark alleys.
The story didn't generate the same feel as the first two books, which were my favorites but I can't deny that this was also a great read. And Tawna's humor is still awesome as ever. I absolutely love how the author can make a perfect balance of drama and humor, all packed in one book. A lot of twists in this book were very amusing and kind of gave me the shudder, especially after finding out about Grant's dark secret. It wasn't exactly a major shock but it appeared to be something I least expected.

I'm excited for the next book, since Schwartz, the last Patton sibling had already been introduced and of course, it's obvious he's going to be the lead in the next book... although his leading lady might be... dot, dot, dot?

Cute. The h/h were a bit more on the long-suffering martyr side of things than I generally care for, but it was too funny to really get on my nerves.

Best Man For Hire is the third book in the Front and Center series, but each book is a complete standalone. I still haven't read the first book, Marine for Hire yet, but I have read the second book, Fiancee for Hire. I loved Mac's story and I was really glad to see him pop up again throughout the book. I am obsessed with the Patton brothers. I really love that each of the brothers are named after US generals. Even the sister! My history nerd side geeked out a bit over that.

And then there is Grant himself. Is he for real?? I mean, seriously, how could he ever possibly be hard on himself? He is so unbelievably good to the core. He is a boyscout personified. It was so easy for me to see that he is a way better person than he gives himself credit for. Both Grant and Anna think that if you have made any mistakes at all in your life, then you are not a good person. It was crazy. But watching them together was so much fun. It was nice to see them kind of open the other's eyes to how great they were. Because Grant could easily see how awesome Anna was and vice versa. They just needed to convince themselves to believe it.

Anna's job as a "nontraditional wedding planner" was super cool. She did a paintball wedding a red riding hood wedding and a fairy wedding. I can only imagine the kinds of offbeat things people can come up with, especially with her as a wedding planner helping them out. It seems like such a fun job. Nothing is ever the same as something else you have put together. That makes it exciting for her. I totally get that.

I am such a fan of Tawna Fenske's writing for the Front and Center Series. She knows how to infuse really sweet and steamy romance with humor and so much personality. All of the books in the Lovestruck imprint from Entangled are great because you know you are going to get an easy to read and quick romance that is satisfying. And the Front and Center series is a great one for you to try. If you liked Mac, get ready to fall even more in love with Grant. He is so awesome. Best Man For Hire comes out at the end of December and it is one that you should keep an eye on. Start with this book, start with the first one, it doesn't matter. This series will put a smile on your face.

Lordy. What can I say.
I didn't think my love for this series could increase. I swear anything Tawne Fenske writes I will GLADLY READ.
The emotions, the funny moments, the personal problems, the freaking love scenes. Everything about this book was gold.

This series is seriously amazing. Just thinking of these characters makes me giddy.

AND HOLY SHUCKS. I NEED SCHWARTZ.
