Love It! Love It! Love It! Elec and Tamara were smoking hot together! They couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other. Not only was this book steamy hot, it was laugh out loud funny as well. Elec is every woman's dream man; not only is he "flat-out sexy," he's caring, charming, great with her kids, attentive, and a great listener. (If only he was real and not a character in a book. LOL) Everyone has, or wish they had, a friend like Suzanne. She's absolutely hilarious. She and Ryder have an interesting dynamic that I hope will be explored further in a book of their own. I read the snippet at the back of the book which is Imogen (Emma Jean, lol) and Ty's story. From what I read it promises to be another sizzling hot read. I'm impatiently waiting to read it. I got this one from the library, but I definitely will be picking up a copy to add to me "keeper" shelf! Absolutely worth the read.

The problem is I'm not finish reading this yeeeeee...t :((

Due my busy schedule, of course *sigh*

But, like I said, not that this book bad or what, I'd read half part of this book after all, and enjoy it

I'll reread, because I'd read so many good review about Fast Track series

Like old saying "So much book so little time"

*sigh*

Well, I really enjoyed this one. Didn't even want to hit anyone on the head with the book. At any point. And even though I chose this for reasons, I will definitely read the next book in the series too and most likely will enjoy that as well.

Let me first say that overall this was a very sweet and hot book, and I really enjoyed it. Tamara and Elec are an adorable couple and while I’m generally not a fan of cinnamon roll heroes, I felt like there was enough heat to Elec to make up for it. Also, can I point out how amazing the name Elec is?

There were two things that really bothered me. First, the crazy evil stalking woman making false accusations against the upstanding hero trope is really problematic in 2020. I’m not saying this never ever happens, but it’s certainly not common the way novels would have you believe. The character of Crystal could have been handled with a lot more realistic nuance.
Second, I adored this book up until the part where Tamara was stuck home for weeks with her sick kids who had chicken pox, “ruing the day she had passed on the varicella vaccine for her kids.” At that point I was pissed that Elec showed up at her house to pamper her. Just suffer the consequences of your terrible medical decision, honey!!

Overall, this was a lovely story. I flew through it in 2 days so that says something about the readability.

I enjoyed this book very much. A great start to the series and having it placed in the racing industry just made it all the more enjoyable for me.

This was a really sweet older woman (32, widow), younger man (25) age gap story. While there were some inconsistencies throughout, I enjoyed this story! His relationship with her kids was sweet and the steam was hot! Loved how he appreciated her mom-bod in such a gentle and touching way.

*It did annoy me that she kept saying she hadn't slept with anyone since her husband, but at the start she admitted that she had sex with the frumpy sweater-loafer-wearing professor.

I think I liked it even more this time around than when I read it over two years ago. Both lead characters are good people the reader can care about, and the story and the emotions were believable. I enjoyed getting a glimpse of car racing, too. It doesn't get a higher rating simply because there's not that much depth to the story. It's a fun, quick, and sexy, read.
