The Personal Assistant by Kimberly Belle

Kimberly Belle delivers again in her latest fast-paced popcorn domestic suspense thriller.

Told from three POVS…Alex, the mom social media influencer whom has the trolls after her for a post she didn’t make…Anna Claire (AC), the crazy maid whom possibly got herself involved with the wrong man, that is also Alex’s personal assistant gone missing and Patrick, Alex’s guilt ridden husband, who is hiding something about how he knows AC.

The ending was rushed but overall it is a binge worthy read with unreliable narrators that will have you guessing until the end.

Thank you Libro.fm and Harlequin Audio for the gifted ALC for my honest opinion.

This book had a good, interesting start and middle, but the ending was so farfetched, convoluted and unrealistic that it pretty much ruined it for me.

It is a fast read so that was nice. I am not a fan of the male narrator so that also influenced my opinion.

I have a hard time believing that someone would hire a personal assistant without looking into their background. Exposing your kids to someone, giving them access to your phone, email, social media, and your home with blind trust is insane.

I thought this Nok would be more fun but it was super dark and sad.

Sometimes a gripping page turner is just what you need!! I have enjoyed author Kimberly Belle's book in the past and this was another entertaining thriller that helped get me out of a bit of a reading slump. ⁣

When things come crashing down, who can you trust? Add in a social media following and a viral post gone wrong and you have my attention for sure! This was twisty and enjoyable and I recommend it for an easy and engaging weekend read.

Thank you to Park Row Books for my gifted copies to read and review.

Decent thriller though the characters were a bit annoying / flat.
