Owenby doesn’t disappoint. She has fast became one of my favorite, auto-read authors.
Gemma and Hendrix have been thru a lot to be together. Now, they are planning their wedding. It should be the happiest time of their lives. But, with just weeks before the big day, a letter arrives with promises to ruin the big day. Love & Vengeance is full of emotions, twists and will leave you wanting more.

This is by a new arthur for me. It did not disappoint It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was happening next. It sure made me want to read the other previous book's to know how everyone came to be. This is book 8, but it can be read as a standalone...trust me your going to want to know what happened in the other book's lol. This has danger, suspension, sexy bodyguards and some hot hot sexy times. Definitely one to check out.

Each book by JA Owenby is a pulse pounding, adrenaline rush from the first page to the last word. The intensity of this book was off the charts and had me on edge and at the dramatic cliffhanger ending I’m just wrung out emotionally. I seriously think reading one of her books should counter as a high-intensity cardio workout! No joke!!
I adore the characters in this series and after reading Gemma’s POV, I can’t wait to read Hendrix’s POV. Frankly, I’m not sure my heart can take too many more chapters from Gemma’s POV based on the where this book left off, yet knowing the author I will likely be just as wound up reading Hendrix’s POV.
This series is phenomenal and each book ratchets us the intensity level along with the emotional investment in these amazing characters. The deep love between the couples, and super close friendships between all of the characters really makes this series outstanding.
I’m not going to go any further with this review so as to avoid spoiling any of the author’s well crafted story. It definitely needs to be experienced firsthand without anyone spoiling the experience. I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Now I need to go try and get my heart rate back down and out of the red zone!

O. My. Gosh!
I did not see this coming, I’m shocked! Gemma and Hendrix were finally getting their happily ever after, life was going their way, then boom...Brandon.
Why would he get released from prison?! Don’t let the psycho out!
Gemma and and Hendrix are trying to finish up wedding planning, when the bomb is dropped that Brandon is being released, via Brandon sending Gemma a psycho written letter about coming for her. It seems like at every turn, Brandon knows their moves before they do and turns their world upside down.
Gemma is so much stronger then when she first met Brandon her freshman year. She is strong, smart, and willing to sacrifice herself if it means saving her family.
Brandon is worse then ever. No daddy to rein him in, all the money he wants, and hardened by prison...he’s after so much more then just getting Gemma.
I understand why Gemma does what she does. She’s self sacrificing, but I wish she would’ve told more then just Sutton the plan, and worked with Pierce also, so she could also be saved. Sutton should’ve had someone tailing Gemma, a drone or something, she went in blind to the Lion’s den.
I don’t know how she’s going to get out of this one...Alert, major cliff hanger...I want Hendrix and Gemma to get their HEA, I want to see all the happy things for them.
I cannot wait for the next book, I’m on pins and needles to see what happens next!

Jennifer has done it again!!!! Her motto should also be expect the unexpected.

The story continues for Hendrix and Gemma.. and let me just say what a roller coaster it has been.. J.A. Owenby does it again, just when I think I know where it's going to go I was taken to a complete other level. I have never cried after reading a book before and let me tell you it hits you right in the feels. This series is definitely my most favorite.

Gemma and Hendrix are back with the entire cast and crew for another gut wrenching, cliff hanger in their crazy search for a happily ever after.
So much has changed for all of them and yet no one saw danger still around the corner. Owenby keeps you guessing with so many emotions- it felt like my heart was a bouncy ball in a plexi-glass box moving from happy to anxious to almost gutted in the matter of a few chapters. Can not wait to see what lays ahead for our fierce heroine.

When I tell you this book ripped my heart out, I'm serious. That being said, it was so worth it. This one keeps you on your toes the whole time. The adrenaline will keep you up all night.

If you want book filled with intense moments, dark and dangerous men, and full of surprising twists here you go.
Planning a wedding is stressful enough but when you have a madman threatening you and your family from prison it makes it that much harder.
