Repeated read while we had this checked out. Z in particular loved the back-and-forth about how long five minutes feels. Very relatable for kids.

The title really says it all. The entire book is different scenarios that take five minutes, but depending on what it is is the perspective of how long it feels.
Waiting to be called back to the dentist... fast 5 minutes.
In the dentist chair... slow 5 minutes.
Kids will relate to this book!

Five minutes can go by in a flash or it can take a lifetime... it depends. Parents and kids will identify with this sweetly funny picture book that take a look at just what five minutes looks like.

Not a bad book to introduce how time flies or can slow to a crawl depending on the activity.

This is a cute children’s picture book about how five minutes can sometimes feel like an eternity and sometimes five minutes can fly by in the blink of an eye!

Is five minutes a long time? Well, I guess it depends on what you are doing at the time.
A cute book that is carried by the illustrations. I think the NPR Best Books description was maybe a little overselling.
