harrow account of an unconventional’s child’s life in a traditional nigerian village. this book tells the touching story of the struggle to grow up “different” in a conservative environment. the author has a way w words, very poetic and moving. although at times a bit hard to follow, would definitely recommend!!

I thought there was no way I was going to be surprised by what actually happened, but the way i SOBBED on the bus to work. ouchie, my heart
