A bit slow , but nonetheless brilliantly written and a worthwhile read for a book that defined a genre.

an alright introduction. didn’t enjoy the second part of the novel as much as the first, though i hope the rest of the books in the series are better

i really thought i'd struggle grasping onto sherlock holmes, given that the book was written in the 19th century and the english language was incredibly different then. however, it was no where near as complicated as i had expected, and easy to understand. i really do understand the sherlock holmes hype now. i'm so excited to get on with the series, and then move on to all the movies and tv show!

A book club pick, didn’t know if I would massively enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised, it picked up in part 2 and I enjoyed trying to piece the puzzle together.

Начал читать. В целом неплохо, но что-то не шибко увлекательно. В итоге тянул кота за хвост почти 2 года, так и не вернулся к книге, так что нафиг ее.
