Probably one of the installments I’ve enjoyed the most! The mysteries are pretty interesting and high stakes, and Jinshi and Maomao have finally started communicating a bit (what?!)

This one was still good, i just felt like not a lot happened in it. I’m hoping for more mysteries like the earlier parts of the series, but not so much in this book.

Jinshi and Maomao barely interacted in this book. They didn’t actually physically talk to each other until like 85% through the book, which was crazy. But what an insane confession out of Jinshi! 🫣

INCRÍVEEEEEEEL, só me senti um pouco perdida (como sempre) mas essa é a graça de apothocary diaries, voê se achar uma maluca das teorias e depois uma burra que não notou a coisa mais óbvia
Só que na realidade é apenas o sentimento...porque a toda estante a menções do plot principal.
O carinha tentando se passar por mulher para o teste das damas de companhia, até a MaoMao lembrando do "sapo" do jinshi, os efeitos colaterais (a princípio não mencionados) da medicina que (eu suspeitei o Jinshi ter tomado) os falsos eunucos tomavam, os homens não poderem tocar nela e assim vai...
Mas achei profundo e triste tudo que a donzela teve qu passar e viver pensando ser algo ou alguém e de repente descobrir que tudo sempre foi uma mentira, e que você era a única no escuro deve ter sido desesperador e por isso ela fez o que fez...
