I think this one was a little weaker compared to the rest but really gave us a glimpse into Suwons character. Dare I say hes one of the best characters ever created?

AHHHHH I love the dragons so much. And Yona. And Yun.
Yona’s strength is such a wonderful point. How she doesn’t want her friends to risk their lives for her and she intends to learn to protect herself no matter what.

Yona of the Dawn is an exceptional political fantasy. Volume 8 provides a peek into what Su-won has been up to since Yona ran away from the palace. We get a peek into his life and how he is traveling around to other kingdoms. This provides the perfect opportunity to also introduce the Earth kingdom and their leader. One of the things I really appreciate about this series is how the mangaka creates such well fleshed out characters. It's clear that she takes the time to develop everyone from the antagonists to side characters.
