Though not my favorite of hers, still a great escape read, especially during this stressful time.

Decent book, super predictable ;) I wanted more juicy drama. Like what did the letters say between Chris & Jenny. Really wasnt vibing with the relationships between Clara & Miller and Morgan & Jonah. Just thought I wasted my time reading this.

First of all MVC - Gramps, hands down.
Round of applause for Gramps.
This CoHo book didn’t hook me in the same way all her others ones do. (She says after finishing the book in 24 hours) but I basically did every task I needed to do while listening to the audio book so.. maybe it did?
I found this one relatively predictable, except for the the little matter of the letters, WHICH MADE ME VERY MAD…
The relationships in the book were all very cute and I felt, well developed. It was funny and made me laugh.
HOWEVER.
Clara, you spoiled rotten little brat. Oh this girl.
This girl is why I am SO DAMN grateful I don’t have kids and makes me realize why my mom flipped out on me when I was 15. I would have BITCH SLAPPED that little girl into next year. Puh - LEASE.
And what she did to Miller, damn near broke my heart for the sweet boy. Damn.
Other than that though (that part of the book that lasted 15 chapters) you know… it was good.

I think I could read anything by Colleen and love it by now, I’m pretty sure of this. I just love how invested I’m in her characters and their stories, she just has a way with words that make you live inside their head and live their emotions while you’re reading them. It’s just special.
AND THAT ENDING, GOD, I WAS SCREAMING.

3.5 stars! It had a few twists that I wasn’t expecting!
