While creating her own mythos, Rebecca Ross immerses you in a world that reads similarly to a Greko-Roman epic! The story surrounds two sisters, Halcyon and Evadne, and two brothers, Xander and Damon. The siblings lives have been inextricably interwoven, and it is such a moving story of sacrificial love.
You will find familial love, betrayal, politics, and so many elements of fantasy and myth that I love. This was a light fantasy adventure with lots of intrigue and moderate stakes. The plotting and the pacing were perfect.
I loved this story so much, and I also highly recommend this a YA read for any age teen.
Content: kissing and a little violence/blood. No profanity.

Whilst I enjoy and appreciate the thought that went into the world building of this book, I think that it was too fast paced and didn't allow me to savour the pivotal scenes as they were so close together.
