I did not enjoy this one. Rarely do I feel this detached from a story and its MCs - but the detachment that I felt as I struggled through this book was palpable and so not fun! My initial intrigue and surprise with this unlikely series may be wearing off a bit - the plot repetition, its detachment from reality, and the growing number of characters/plot-treads to keep track of is becoming quite a distraction. I think I'm going to give this series a break. My lack of enjoyment of this book has impacted my excitement about moving forward with the series. This author writes really well and that is the only reason I've stuck with this series for this long. There are elements of brilliance in this book too - however, the lack of chemistry of their instant attraction relationship and protracted and unnecessary drama sunk this one for me.

Eden Finley (almost) never disappoints. I'm sure I'll five star one of her books one of these days, but for now, this is just another solid four stars that I really enjoyed! I love this cast of characters, honestly. And every time I realize who is going to have their own romance I just get super excited.

I liked Ollie and Lennon and they were cute and this was fun and... idek what else to say. It was just fun and steamy and just a good time and I'm SO PUMPED to read Miller and Talon's romance!

Ollie Strömberg & Lennon. SO CUTE. I knew Ollie from the Puckboy series as the first out NHL player and like “the head” of the Queer Collective. I loved getting to read his story and him and Lennon had kinda a little enemies to lovers thing going on with Lennon being a reporter and Ollie thinking that Lennon’s articles were shitting on him. No third act break up but still dram with the whole coming out situation.
