This book was okay, I felt it was very slow and repetitive over and over. The overall sweetish storyline but not my favorite.

Book 44 (2022) - All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover - Complicated Love tugging at your Heartstrings

I was blown away by It Ends With Us, that I knew I had to read more by Colleen Hoover, so I picked this up next.

Something felt off from the beginning, not just because I couldn't connect with it fully for some reason, but parts of it kinda shook me up a bit, some parts felt really real which no one brings up - inability to share emotions because of past trauma or boxed up feelings due to mix of good and bad memories of family, for which I was able to connect with Quinn, the female lead, I know I could be painting a confusing picture, but this was the way it shook me lol, but that didn't stop me from finishing it as I got really curious as the plot went on.

Quinn, a complex but big at heart character, just doesn't know how to share or vent out her feelings because she wasn't given the opportunity, which tends to make her annoying sometimes, but I could get where she comes from.

Graham, a picture perfect character, a match for Quinn but isn't tainted by past trauma, less complex unlike Quinn except being burned by love, a little hard to believe sometimes - which made it a bit of a weird reading experience as he couldn't get what she was going through, I know there is no hardwritten rule that he is supposed to, but felt a lot of gaps in the writing here.

All in all, an interesting book to read. I wouldn't read it again, but it was an experience I will remember nonetheless.

Next Book - Beautiful World, Where are you by Sally Rooney - Finished it too - will post a review soon.

This book should come with a trigger warning for those struggling with fertility concerns. This was an emotional roller coaster for me. 2.5 stars because the writing was god awful, but also made me feel valid in my own feelings.

My least favourite of the Colleen Hoover books I've read, just left me feeling flat.

This is probably my second favorite Colleen Hoover book. It follows a couple back and forth in time from when they first met/fell in love to now when their marriage is possibly going to end. It captures my attention enough. The audiobook was read in non-annoying voices (which isn‰ЫЄt true of all her books) so it was easier to follow along. It does have some cliche love scenes and description of a relationship being ‰ЫПperfect‰Ыќ but I wouldn‰ЫЄt say it‰ЫЄs a cliche love story.
