Great ghost story! It has some romance in it and a good storyline. I love Simone’s books. She has a great style of writing to make you want to keep reading and this one gets creepy.

What a fantastically haunting ghost story! Just perfect for the cooler temps and autumn season. This was my first book by this author but I will certainly be looking for more.

I loved this!!!!! The ghost story, the romance, the time period… Simone’s books are fantastic. She is a fantastic spooky story writer. I also really enjoyed the romance in this book too, it was perfect for the storyline and really fit in well.

It’s clear St. James has developed her writing style in a more thoughtful way since writing The Haunting of Maddy Clare. The Sundown Motel and Broken Girls were two of my favorite books that were tough to put down. But this one was tough to want to continue reading. St. James still did a beautiful job developing the characters, but the storyline felt aimless.
