Temas turbios, algo asquerosos y/o perturbadores pero que uno no puede parar de leer.

Hard read. Don't know about the ending, maybe missed opportunity with the bad guy.

This is the first Stephen King book I've read, mainly because I wanted to watch the movie adaptation so I found a copy at the thrift store and picked it up.

I enjoyed it, more than I thought I would. It definitely had some suspenseful parts and the overall arching plot with Jessie and her quasi coming of age story I enjoyed. I read this last summer I think so I barely remember.

I beg of you to not watch the movie adaptation because it was so bad it makes me angry. I don't know why Kings adaptations are so polarising but if you're interested in the story read the book and forget the movie exists.
