Super interesting and intriguing premise, but the actual novel is quite disappointing. I'm not sure if it is because of cultural differences or poor translation, but at least as a Western reader this book doesn't have anything worth saying to me, just fake deep male fantasies.

Encuentro que el libro es interesante, quizás en su contexto tuvo más sentido. Lo siento como una novela experimental que toma muchas inquietudes de la sociedad coreana de forma más o menos ominosa. Todo está lejano y nada se esclarece de forma total, eso es quizás su mensaje de como funciona o cuál es el problema de la vida que llevan los personajes de este libro. Sin embargo, para mí gusto, aquí se queda corto Kim Young-Ha. Es corto así que la verdad no me queda mucho por decir de este, espero que Your republic is calling you me genere más emoción.
