This is the story that starts it all - Hercule Poirot's beginnings! As always, I was shocked by the revelation of the true murder, charmed by the quirkiness of Poirot, and engaged every step of the way.

I forgot how much I used to love these books by Christie when I was younger.
Twenty years after I had initially read this, it is still an enjoyable read that grips you and sucks you in from start to finish. It is also fairly a short a quick book to get through.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a cozy mystery.
