I like Taycee. I like Luke. Jessa's a bit annoying but fine, I also get her.

Read this while I was sick... The Reluctant Bachelorette was cute, but I guess not my kind of read!

While I realize "The Bachelor/Bachelorette" shows are a big hit on TV, I had a bit of a hard time thinking a small town web version would actually get much traffic. There were also some similarities to an ABC made for TV movie "The Reality of Love" (starring Bradley Cooper, Jason Priestley and Emma Caulfield, which was a REALLY cute movie by the way, and if you liked this book, you'd probably like this movie, I liked it a bit more ... similar premise, but a washed up TV star being the "bachelor" to revamp his image). Anyway ... back to THIS book. I liked it, there wasn't a lot of action/drama, it was pretty predictible, but cute and sweet. I liked the end *Ü*

It was okay. I think I was so distracted about how much I didn't like her "best" friend, Jessa, and the narrator's valley girl intonations. Jessa is selfish and imposes a lot of her agenda on Taycee, mostly without her friend's agreement.
I generally like second chance relationships. I overall wanted more character and plot development, maybe a more powerful conflict as well. I do enjoy Rachael's other books I've read, so I know it's not her writing but my lack of connection to this book in particular that is the issue.

Loved this new sweet, clean romance from Rachael Anderson (I've loved all her books)! I've read several Bachelor/Bachelorette type stories recently and I thought this had a great unique take on the whole thing -- and not what I expected either!
