Eindelijk begint de schrijver zijn obsessie met seks los te laten, thank god. Dit boek richt zich minder rigide op Helen, je krijgt ook meer mee van haar team, en dat maakt het lezen fijn omdat je verschillende perspectieven meekrijgt en niet met eén ‘hero’ te maken hebt. Al blijft Helen uiteraard wel de ‘shining star’.

Voor het eerst in deze serie vond ik de hoofdstukken geschreven vanuit een slachtoffer daadwerkelijk beklemmend overkomen. Ik leefde voor het eerst mee en hoopte met heel mijn hart op een goed einde.

A part of a series and I hadn't read the previous books. The characters were undeveloped therefore but a really good murder mystery. The murderer locks girls in his basement and keeps them there like a doll's house.
