This is the most addictive book I’ve read by Tillie Cole. I devoured this story and even though it broke my heart a few times—okay, a bunch of times— I’d still read it again.

“He plays music for me that says more to my heart than his words ever could.”

Before starting A Wish for Us I already knew this was going to take me on an emotional roller coaster. I naively thought I was prepared for it. WRONG! I wasn’t. Not even close!

Cromwell and Bonnie’s story turned out to be so much more than I anticipated. So much more!!!

I finished this book a few days ago and I still can’t find the right words to express what this book did to me. So I want to say sorry in advance if my review is a mess.

I love the way Tillie is able to make you feel exactly what the characters are feeling. Whatever these characters felt, I felt. I felt everything! I both loved and hated it. Especially when it was pain. Boy, but did I feel it. I felt it with my whole being.

Bonnie and Cromwell became one of my favorite couples of 2018.

The were complete opposites; Bonnie is a kind girl with a bright personality, while Cromwell is covered in tattoos, piercings and a real jerk. However, they do have one thing in common— their love for music. The thing that brought them together. Soon you’ll realize that Bonnie and Cromwell fit seamlessly together.

I have so much I want to talk about but I think everyone should experience this book for themselves. I can’t recommend it enough.

This is why Tillie is, and always will be, a favorite author of mine. She evokes these strong emotions with her words, you can’t help but fall deeply in love with her books. It’s inevitable.

Read this beautiful, heart wrenching story.

I adored this book. It made me cry for roughly 100 pages. It has changed me for the better. Completed it in less than 2 full days.

⭐️ 5+ "She Was My Silver" Stars ⭐️
I’m an avid fan of music, so any book music related you can count me in! A Wish for Us had me intrigued since its release, but nothing could have prepared me for the impact it had on me! This novel is a pure MASTERPIECE! I adored it! The storyline is unique, the prose is sublime and the emotions conveyed are grandiose!

"It was you who brought the music back to my heart."

Cromwell Dean is a young popular rising DJ, but few people know that he’s also a classical music genius! He’s damaged and lost his love for compositions three years earlier. You feel the pure distress he lives through every single day, trying to numb his pain with alcohol and meaningless sex! He acts rude and carefree, but once he’s exposed you realized he feels too much and he’s a very sensitive guy. The person to help him get free from his dark place is Bonnie Farraday, a fellow student and music major at his new college.

"He was my violet blue. My favorite-ever note."

Bonnie is also an exceptional girl! She’s studious, dedicated and breathes music! She knows about Cromwell’s remarkable talent and wants to understand him better. While their relationship starts with animosity, they soon recognize something in the other and develop the kind of relationship everyone dreams about! Seriously they made my heart melt with the depth of their connection! Their love and the way they try to heal each other is absolutely magnificent!

"I had made many wishes in my life, but Cromwell had been the wish that I never made."

Tillie Cole spell bounded me with this marvellous story I will forever treasure! This is without doubt a top favorite read for me this year! The inspiring plot and ALL THE FEELS couldn’t help but leave a trace on my heart! A Wish For Us is PERFECTION!!!
