Patricia has to be in control of every aspect of her life and will say anything to show she has it together, because of this control Patricia won’t let any man too close. Men are only good for one thing to Patricia FWB. Damon however is looking to settle down, he knows what he wants and won’t settle so he patiently awaits for Patricia to come to her senses and relinquish her control.

Patricia was something else. I mean she was a real control freak right down to her son’s creation. Damon was so patient and caring, I loved how he wasn’t afraid to admit what he wanted and go after it while also respecting Patricias ridiculous rules. I also like how Celena and Kamir’s story was tied into Patricia story, I kept wondering what was wrong with Patricia and this book got right to her issues. I like getting updates on characters from previous reads.

For this to be Nicole Falls first series I was impressed. All the stories were novellas but I never felt like I was missing out on any important details. I mean I did want more of Celena and Kamir but that’s because they were my favorite and Kamir is on the list of book baes.

I am officially a Nicole Falls fan and will be reading everything sis puts out.

Whew

Pat was a bit irky but in a slightly adorable way, if that makes any sense. Damon was damn near perfection. Their romance was definitely a good read.

Then Came You was a nice end to the series. We saw a few connections & closure from Book 2 and a good look into Ms. Patricia Payne's life. She is the controlled sister with several secrets that show their faces simultaneously. Both Patricia and Cel are trying their best to not continue the cycle of dysfunctional love...while creating an avenue for it at the same time. Patricia slowly and unwillingly begins to fall for a man made for her. Her issues with control, stubbornness and holding up a perfect front almost destroy one of the longest relationships she has. Falling for Damon breaks down a wall that opens sooo many doors.

Damon is a young man who seems to know what he wants, until he meets Patricia. Patricia brings out the desire to settle down now that he has his own footing with the opening and success of his new Bakery. He is game for their contractual duties, until he is not. He tries to get a handle on his feelings without getting hurt...but that is a fail as Patricia is NOT ready to admit they are seemingly on the same page. Can he get past Patricia's walls to love her the way he want to and build a family along with his brothers?

I love the villages both Damon and Patricia have to guide them and acknowledge their true feelings. We tend to run around the obvious looking for a way around or to avoid hurt that is unseen because of "boyfriends/girlfriends past".

Boy I can definitely identify with Patricia!

Patricia and Damon thought they had the perfect set up, but they weren't prepared to change up the rules. Patricia was self sufficient in every way, her need for a man was for one thing only, physical. She was about her business when it came to her son and job, but her personal life wasn't a priority. I felt Patricia's plight, it's scary to move past the hurt of past relationships.

Great way to end a series

This was a great way to end a series! I loved seeing Damon and Patty evolve as people and in their relationship. And who couldn’t love DJ? Every time I read Unca Dame I said ‘aw’ to myself out loud.
