I wanted to love this as much as I loved the art in it. Noto draws the best Nat but the story felt really weak. All the issues are read as single issue and there no overall arc so ultimately it just feels like every issues are just fillers and don’t get you deeper into the Black Widow mythos

"The thing about lead-spitting weapons--they eventually run out of lead. (Unlike alien plasma weapons or lasers or whatever.)"

My first comic ever; I've been desperate for more story about Natasha and I found this pretty satisfying. Good voice, perfect artwork. Nice to see her work with Maria Hill as well. Will definitely be picking up volume 2!

The art in this one is gorgeous! The story is a bit lacking though, especially at the start, but it builds up toward the end. I like it.

the concept is intriguing and I love the red room sections. really giving us a great insight into natasha's character, which I love. and it looks great, too!

3.5 Stars. I liked the plot. I wished we would’ve gone deeper with Natasha. I wanted to connect with her so bad. I understand it’s harder with a graphic novel because they’re shorter. I’m gonna continue reading this series though. I really liked the illustrations.

The art in this graphic novel was fantastic! No harsh black lines and lovely coloring. Black Widow, to me, is one of the most interesting of the avengers. This story was great and I love that Natasha wasn't hypersexualized at all in this. Will definitely continue reading this series.

I wonder who Isaiah is exactly.
Atonement... too much red in her ledger?

This is the first black widow comic I've read. Loved it. She's such a badass.
