DNF -- this book is good, don't get me wrong. There are just way too many characters with a lack of who is who and world building that made it very difficult for me to get into. I listened to the audio book and tried reading the book -- will probably pick this up again after reading more of the series so that I have a better understanding of what is happening.

A good, quick read! I enjoyed the plot and the characters even though they weren't the most original characters and tended to follow common tropes. But that didn't stop it from being a story I had a good time reading. And I fully intend of reading the sequel as well.

I would give this duology 10 stars if I could. This is a must read for anyone who enjoyed the Shadow and Bone series, which is set in the same universe. This book has the best cast of characters of any YA book I’ve ever read. Ever. I felt invested in the individual storylines of each member of the team. The entire second half of the book had me on the edge of my seat. What an adventure!

Absolutely fantastic start to a series--I can't wait to see what Leigh Bardugo has in store for us with the second installment. The characters were beautifully crafted, the world was thoroughly fleshed out, and the plot was riveting and kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. My only real complain about Six of Crows is that at times, it felt difficult to differentiate between the character's individual voices when the chapters were shifting. Other than that, though, A+ writing!
