I, generally, really enjoy the works of this author, so I think this. Ok was just a miss for me. There was so much time spent in the past for the characters, the latter chapters seemed rushed, I was not the biggest fan of the FMC. It was just a lot. I have read more than a few A. House novels and this, by far, is my least favorite.
Moderate: Alcoholism, Toxic relationship, Mental illness, and Abandonment
Minor: Self harm, Racism, and Suicidal thoughts

Another stellar read by AH and performance by my fav narrators. We finally get Crystal and Ford’s story which a story that spans time and circumstances. Not only is this a sports romance, this story is about second chances, mental illnesses, and creating a found family. It was emotional, funny, and hopeful read. I’m thankful for authors who shines positive light on neurodivergence and mental illnesses among characters. And Robin Stick is a character lol

I really love how AH wrote this book in terms of then & now. I loved the St. Louis sires series! I hope there is more to come.

Holding by Alexandria House
Content warnings: death of a parent, death of a twin sibling.
I finished Holding in one day. I loved it! I've been waiting to review it because my migraine disease is flaring and I wanted to write an awesome review. Well sometimes Chronic Illness will not let up. So here is an OK review for an amazing book.
Things I am here for:
Authentic Bipolar representation. End the stigma around mental health.
True love that started as kids.
Finding your way back to each other.
All Black Hockey team! Ownership, Management, Roster!
Iguana children
Snarky hilarious parents
Love is not transactional. And bipolar people deserve to be loved as they are.
This is my sixth book for #23for23
