Would’ve been a 5 but the last little bit of the ending dragged on too long imo

I have long delayed writing anything about this book because my experience was chimeric. The elements I enjoyed, I really, really enjoyed, but those that left me cold went so far as to make me resent that they took away from the story that was just out of reach. Perhaps best to leave simply at that.

My sum is generally positive, though somewhat diluted, and I will have no problem continuing to suggest to readers - just perhaps not to any who remind me too closely of me.

audiobook note: Lauren Fortgang is a nimble narrator, and I appreciated how well she included undercurrents of bemusement, eye-rolls, and quirk at key character points.

This is so much fun! More of a 4.5 ⭐️ than a full 5 because it has some slow bits but damn I adored this. It was a wild ride! A mix of RPO, National Treasure, and Casper(the 90s movie with Cristina Ricci) lol I know that’s a mix bag of ideas and genres but Damnit if you are in need of something that is adventurous and Spoopy here’s the book for you. If you want to see how folks tackle grief from all sides of the spectrum this is for you. If you are a lover of research and uncovering hidden facts look no further. If you believe in ghosts and their presence in our world boom a Book for you! I feel like I’m going to be thinking about this for a while it was soo entertaining.

Wow. I loved this book so much and can’t possibly do it justice in a review. I think this will be one of my favorite books of 2020 - but I also know it may not be for everyone.

An eccentric billionaire dies - and in his obituary kicks off a scavenger hunt open to the public - with the winner(s) earning part of his estate. Tuesday Mooney is immediately intrigued and starts digging into the clues.

For me - this book truly has EVERYTHING. An interesting plot that totally drew me in. Amazing and unusual characters that I want to spend more time with and I miss just moments after finishing the book. Beautiful writing and particularly some quotes on friendship that I’m going to put below so I don’t lose them. I’m not much of a rereader but I know this is one I will be reading again.
