Ok every character in this book needs some serious therapy. But I was entertained.

I found both the main characters pretty annoying ngl

The beginning was pretty slow but then it picked up towards the middle, and let me tell you chapter 25

Well, like everything Penelope writes, this book ain’t for everyone. Even though I’m into Penelope's books I wasn’t having it with this one and, for the first time ever, I didn’t like the MMC, which is very rare for me.

The book was slow during the first half, then the plot was okay, and then nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the book, it has something. I would say it’s Rika and the side characters, like Kai and Will and, of course Alex. But other than that… well.

I didn’t like Michael and I didn’t like Damon, for whatever reason they weren’t that appealing to me. I will read the rest of the series because I’m intrigued, but the edits on TikTok about these books are way better than the actual books. I think that’s why I had such high expectations.

Anyways, it’s 3 stars for me. Now I’m going to read Kai's book.

What a mess, I was looking forward to this because of the ratings too but...yeah. This was a disappointment. Stupid stupid moments. Stupid guy(s) stupid girl. Didn't like the writing. And didn't finish. I even tried to read good reviews to make me want to finish this book, but it didn't work.
