This book is a masterpiece. Listened on audio to multitask and would end up just sitting down and absorbing the story. Made me mad and sad and hate the world. Made me love Elizabeth Zott, Calvin Evans, the exceptions to the terrible world, and everyone that supported them. I would recommend this book to absolutely everyone. 100/10

Despite the hype, I didn’t love this book. I can clearly see a target audience of stay at home wives/moms that would like this book, though. Very clear You-Can-Do-It themes but also quite boring at times. The beginning is barely tolerable but it picks up in the second half. Reading the author’s bio, it seems to be a fiction version of her life.
