Great book with lots of examples you can use to incorporate this way of thinking into your organization. That's the good news. The bad news is that this way of working requires a fundamental change in your org, which is very, very hard. However this book gives me hope.

Found quite interesting and was full of examples to help explain the principles of lean UX. However I did find some parts repetitive and feel I would have understood better if I had more experience with lean UX.

Practical concepts that can be implemented in any organization. I look forward to working on these concepts with my team and I plan to read this book again a few years from now to see what I can improve on.

Quick read, the shift chapter at the end is quite useful, and may be harder to swallow for organizations with deeply entrenched product development practices. A good start for incorporating User Experience into project management.

A tremendously interesting read about the Lean UX process. I've learned quite a lot through it, and also spotted several weakness I've encountered while working with business. It cleared a lot of the processes I'm used to work with, making them more straightforward and efficient. For me it's a must read for anyone working in the UX field nowadays, helping shape products that work in a more powerful way. It also includes user testing throughout the whole process and not just at the end of it, while mixing it quite nicely with the Agile-Scrum methodology (even if this will need a bit of a fight for some company).

I'll admit i went into this book with different expectations, hoping to learn about UX and how to make the process more UX. Although the book does introduce typical UX techniques, it does not however introduce anything particularly groundbreaking towards my understanding of UX. This may be because the book was written quite a while back in 2013 and it may be the pioneer of its time.
What it does pretty well however is produce good examples of how a transformative framework can be applied to the workplace, and how to shift the company's objectives to focus on iteration and collaboration. 3.5/5
