Creative, dark retelling of Alice in Wonderland. I'm glad characters from the first book made and appearance but that ending gutted me! I enjoyed this one more than the first, the world continues to be fascinating and spicy.

Second book of this connected standalone series, new characters are introduced and multiple POVS used. Alice in Wonderland retelling but DARK. Check trigger warnings, less spice 🌶️ than the first book. This book seems like it’ll flow more into the third book and those might be more of a duology feel. We keep Fin and Clara as characters from the first book which is a relief because the first book was so excellent I didn’t want them to go away. This ended on somewhat of a cliff hanger, we don’t know what happened to one character that left abruptly towards the end and there’s no closure between Alice and the Rabbit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love a good turn your brain off retelling. It was not as good as the first one, but it did not include my least favorite character from the first, so it is immediately better.

This one is just as fun as the first one (I seriously love these characters so much!), I love how this author did this retelling of Alice in Wonderland. I wanted so much more, that ending wasn't fair - I really hope to get more of Alice's story in the next book! I'm so in love with Fin/Sugarplum though, him and Clara are too sweet. Really enjoying this series so far!
