I really loved this book and the idea behind it of what to do when you have extra and that you shouldn’t be greedy. Such a simple and fun way to illustrate this concept!

This was a very cute book. The illustrations steal the show here- the yarn covered houses and people and everything was so beautiful and colorful and lovely. There was a touch of magic with some questions left up to the reader to decide the answers for, so I can definitely see some kiddos enjoying this a lot.

I picked this book up off the shelf on a whim at my local bookstore and once I saw that the main character's name is Annabelle (my daughter's name), I was intrigued. The story is creative and interesting, the pictures are simple yet completely beautiful, and, most importantly, my daughter loves it. 5 stars.

Adorable and charming! The moral of the story is lovely and I really wanted one of Annabelle's beautifully colorful sweaters by the end. Klassen's illustrations perfectly compliment the tale, and I was amused by the cameo appearance of a few of the animals from [b:I Want My Hat Back|11233988|I Want My Hat Back|Jon Klassen|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1327888784s/11233988.jpg|16160067].

I read this while I worked at Barnes & Noble because we had a special sale and we had to sell it well. It’s a cute and wholesome children’s book literally for anyone to read.

I enjoyed this book until the end. Having an "archduke" steal the box of yarn and then it floats back to the girl seemed a bit rushed, contrived, and didn't settle well with me.
