very interesting read to have the main character have a mental illness (depression, anxiety) and read what she is exactly thinking in moments of every day life. a frustrating character but maybe that’s why i don’t like her, because she seems very real.

I LOVED this book!! I think I might add it as one of my new favorites. As someone who lives with anxiety, the main character was so funny and relatable. The book had me laughing, crying, and feeling a little less alone with some of the thoughts that run through my head.

Emily Austin has quickly become a new favorite. I cackle out loud and love the hopefulness she puts into the heart of the story.

Dark, funny, and weirdly joyful.
