John Green’s Turtles All The Way Down felt much like his other books that I’ve read. His book are always easy to read and easy to like, and I don’t think this is an exception. I liked the characters, and I thought that the main character’s mental disorder gave good opportunity for growth throughout the novel. I liked the way the characters interacted, even when they were being obnoxious to one another, because it made these interactions feel even more genuine. I think this book holds back at the end, unlike some of John Green’s other books, but does still ultimately deal with the same complex emotions of love and loss like many of his other stories. I’ve been a fan of Green’s for years now, and if you have been too, then you should definitely check out this book. If not, this is a good one to start with!
