This book really made me feel seen. I'm 24 and recently lost my father so hearing her talk about losing her mother at a similar age was incredibly validating. It is also nice to hear from someone who went through that over a decade ago and is still going on. It gives me hope that I can keep going on too even if it's difficult. I can see myself coming back to this book multiple times throughout my grief process.

This is a lovely bite sized read on how grief and love are two sides of the same coin. The yin and yang of life.
