Yep that's right ... read in one sitting !
I don't know how Kasie West doest that but she is THAT good ! I couldn't put the book down.
I strates a few pages in the morning got my day of work and when I came home I just read, and read (I ate a bit haha) and then read, read, read...

This story is not my favorite from her but the writing is compelling, the characters are cute, the boys are clueless haha I love the dynamic between Abby and her grandpa <3 I love the fact that some issue are brought to light but it's not the center of the story.

anyway I just love Kasie West I read EVERY books she has so far and I cannot wait to dive into another one right now !

This was a twisty one! I was totally fine with the ending two chapters before the ending!!! I literally was already writing my review for this book praising how bold of a move it was for Kasie West to let her main character get together with no one, but then... ARRG!
I mean if I wasn´t from the beginning against this ship because I really didn´t like Cooper at all, I might have been in love with this book. I liked Lacy a lot, I am and will always be a huge fan of West´s writing and way of storytelling, but man, I really hate the best-friends-to-lovers-trope.
Additionally, I wasn´t feeling the heart-list either... It reminded me a bit of [b:Since You've Been Gone|18189606|Since You've Been Gone|Morgan Matson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1377702326s/18189606.jpg|25591533]. A book I also didn´t like so much. In some ways it was done cool, eg I really liked the making of the list and the ideas behind some of the quests, but all in all, it seemed too obvious if that makes sense. Total frustration also came from my hopes for an Abliot-ship to sail. (Now it sounds stupid, but at least for the first half I was constantly checking the page number to assure myself there was still enough time for them to make it.)
What I did like was the sub-plot surrounding her mother and the art gallery. It was done in West´s typical, realistic and relatable way with little hints of important messages, that I just love.

I´m now really looking forward to [b:Listen to Your Heart|36127456|Listen to Your Heart|Kasie West|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1507130050s/36127456.jpg|56429658]. The story sounds much more my cup of tea than this one did.

This book went through so much with Abby & Cooper with them finding themselves, dealing with rejection, facing fears, finding love. The emotion in this book had me crying, so heartbreaking at time then so heartwarming. My heart felt everything, such an amazing read.

I felt very lukewarm about this book throughout. I love friends-to-lovers and yearnings, but this story did not really do it for me... Cooper didn't do enough to deserve any forgiveness.

I really loved this book. I think that I picked it up at just at the right time. It was exactly what I needed to get over a book that I really struggled to read. I read this book in 5 days, when I spent most of that time with my boyfriend. If I wasn't with him, I was with this book. It's so cute. So light and fluffy that anyone will enjoy it. It's not my absolute favourite Kasie West, but it is definitely one of the better ones. I can't wait to see what else she comes out with!

There wasn't really much of a plot of this book. If you wanted me to write a synopsis of this book, it would be about Abby's desire to grow as an artist, and her relationship with Cooper. I also felt like it felt like there were some plot points which, while were closed, weren't truly resolved. But I don't particularly mind it being like that. The plot was predictable, but it was exactly what I needed and that's why I loved this story so much.

I enjoyed reading the story of Abby, and getting to know the people in her life. I really like the way the way the dialogue was written in this book, and Abby is the one that delivers most of it. I didn't mind Cooper. He honestly was clueless. I did wish that we got to know more about Justin and Rachel, the people that were only present in the beginning and end of the book. I also wish that we got to see more of the relationship between Abby and Cooper.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read another Kasie West book! She is one of my favourite young adult contemporary romance authors.

Wanted something cute and frothy, got just that. Not my fav of her works, though. Didn't feel like male lead truly earned his ending, though it was telegraphed clearly from the beginning.

I've always loved Kasie west's books. She writes the most amazing, light hearted, short and cute YA romance standalones!

I wouldn't given this a four star but i was really hoping that everything wouldn't be pushed off to the end. I would've preferred if we could see more of Collin side of him falling in love with Abby (or maybe I just couldn't catch on it?)

Regardless this book is too good to be left unread. So if you're a fan of short, light hearted, kinda slow burn, best friends to lovers books you'll love this one!
