I would round up to 4.5 stars. This second book was great, but just not quite as fantastic as the first one. It took me a while to get into the story and it felt a little messy at times. Excited to see if there’s another book coming in this series.

I read this one so fast—so invested in Finlay and Vero!! Love their friendship and the suspense of these books. Twist at the end was not my favorite, but still 5 stars overall!

I cant believe how this ended. This is one of the best things I’ve read. THE SHOCK I FELT. MY JAW WAS ON THE GROUND!

If you’re looking for an easy yet FUNNY summer read, look no further than the Finlay Donovan series. Not transcendent by any means and some moments are eye roll inducing but when you take it for what it is, it’s so good.

This fast-paced mystery/thriller/rom-com about a single mom turned reluctant hit-man had all the heart that made the first one so enjoyable, with even higher stakes.
This book was as expected, an absolute delight. However, it was also stressful and kept me guessing right until the very end... I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book in this series.

Ms. Cosimano does it again! Great story that keeps you reading. I can't seem to put these Finlay Donavan books down. I'm on to book 3!
