I obtained this book thanks to a goodreads giveaway! It was a fun, swoon worthy book— light and easy. The perfect escape.

4.5 ***** When “You’ve Got Mail” meets a modern twist, you have the delightful and charming book of “To Sir, With Love.” Gracie has been living her life for her family attempting to carry on their parents legacy in their Midtown New York champagne store while her siblings are off living their own lives. Sebastian Andrews Company owns the building and is attempting to buy out their lease agreement. When they meet in person, there is an instant connection, but the realization of being on opposite sides makes it complicated.

Gracie however is on an app that allows you to chat with a mate without seeing pictures. Their connection is deep and she finds herself falling in love with two different men. The clues, the chemistry, and the witty back-and-forth made this book so enjoyable!

a cute easy breezy romance! classic enemies to lovers, literally a one-day read- would def recommend to take along on a trip or if you're in a real reading slump. the plot was suuuuper predictable and the main character pretty cringey and disney adult-esque, but i found the whole thing just very adorable and heartwarming. no shame in that!

I am averse to the current trend of illustrated romance book covers, and light, feel-good romances. But because I love wine and the setting is a wine shop, I picked this one up, and promptly surprised myself by tearing through the pages. Lauren Layne is skillful at creating witty banter that moves the plot along and she has an easygoing manner of telling the story; I never felt like anything was rushed.

Perhaps my only issue is that this is romance LITE, so don't expect any steam; look to the author's other books for that. Also, I would definitely like a sequel to this book.
