It's a heartwarming story but the writing isn't the best.

I love the story - and cats in general - but the writing was very simplistic and the subjects of addiction and homelessness weren't really addressed in any depth. Good as a simple, warming read, but not much more.

Love, love, love! Loved it all the way through. Had slightly missed the Bob and James phenomenon but will generally read anything to do with cats and so couldn't resist this book with Bob's face on the cover with a scarf around him. I loved the honesty in the book about James's past, he didn't shy away from it and I loved how much he adored Bob. He puts a lot of pet owners to shame during the recession (who dump or get rid of their pest claiming times are tough and always found a way to look after Bob and provide for him. Highly recommended and does make you feel good about the human race. I'll never look at a Big Issue vendor the same again.

süße Katzengeschichte für Zwischendurch, der Schreibstil war sehr flüssig und insgesamt war es durchaus unterhaltsam
