Terrible. Absolutely terrible.

The plot of this book is so overused and incredibly predictable.

A broken girl flees to a university far away from her hometown to escape the damaged life her father caused. A sexy, smooth-talking "bad boy" meets her and they hit it off immediately. But wait! She won't have sex with him, and makes it clear that she won't despite him not even mentioning it at all.

Their relationship takes the typical course of casual flirting to working to get past the deep-seeded issues the girl has.

Someone tell me that I'm not the only one who knew the end of this story before it began.

It wasn't just the plot being predictable either, it's always the broken girl who has the extroverted and flirty best friend who obviously attracts the best friend of the bad boy.

I don't see how authors can reuse the same plot; it's time to be different! Write something completely new and fresh; it's easier said than done, I'm aware but take that chance! Be creative and extraordinary. And please, write anything but this.

There are far too many stories that don't keep you on your toes, stories that have more than enough in common with every other book out there.

This was an easy book to read, loved the characters but the epilogue was a bit lacking I felt cheated of some detail. I would still recommend this book as a good read.

It wasn't very well written. Maybe it's my fault but I couldn't connect with the characters.
The Ending was too abrupt and too fast and the lines too cheesy

Though there were some parts of this book that flowed smoothly, I'm still very disappointed.

It was ok, the writing was off for me and I couldn't really relate to the characters. Overall a good story, it had a good foundation but it just wasn't there yet!

First I like this cover! I like a lot of the covers that Okay Creations do, she does a great job!

That being said now on to my thoughts on the book. Overall I did enjoy the story. It has been a while since I have read one like it. I liked the connection between Kane and Kelsey. They saw something in each other that immediately drew them to each other. I absolutely fell in love with Kanes grandparents, for those who have read this story you will know and chances are, you fell in love with them also. Learning that Kane and Kelsey are more alike than they ever thought was interesting. It only made her feel more for him than I think she really wanted to. She was afraid to open up to anyone but wanted to get to know new people and not let what happened in her hometown follow her. But talking about her past was something that ended up being a good thing in the end.

I know that there are a lot of people who are tired of reading about the college virgin and to be 100% honest with you if that is not what you want to read then this probably is not for you. I liked it though as I had said above I have not read one of these in a while. I know that there are people out there who also LOVE these types of books, and from time to time I am one of them! I am sure that anyone who reads, you don't want to read the same type of book over and over. You need something different to mix it up. Okay well that isn't true if you happen to love a specific type, but overall yes it is always good to mix it all up and read a little from here and there.

I did notice that there were some editing errors but I am not usually one to rate a book on that alone because I try to keep it about the story unless I just can't get past it because it happens in every sentence. This isn't the case I have heard that there was a book out there that there were so many grammatical errors that only a couple of blogs pointed out. When I went to go and check the reviews on amazon it had tons of five-star ratings. I am not one to go on and on about editing because that can be fixed where as the storyline usually is always going to be exactly what it is. So if the storyline sucks it always will.

SO...this has a good few moments of hotness and have to say that my absolute favorite hotness scene was in her dorm room. There were also moments that ohhh I wanted to slap a biotch. (she knows who she is lol) and at the same time wanted to punch Kane in the nether region just because I was upset for Kelsey. :) It was a tad bit predictable I knew what was going to happen. Okay maybe not everything because there were a few spots that surprised me and I wasn't expecting what happened to happen. The only problem that I did have, I did feel that the ending was a bit rushed, it was like all of a sudden a lot happened and then it was over.

I am not sure if this is going to be a series, but one of the biggest questions I had at the end was left wondering what had happened between her classmate and Kane. I mean Kane would stare at him like he couldn't stand the guy but he doesn't say why.

One other thing as a heads up. Yes Kane is pierced and tatted up, BUT no he isn't a bad boy. Yes she assumes he is, and well lets face it for the most part when we all see a tatted up guy who is pierced we all assume he is a bad boy. He is from the get go nothing but a good guy. So if you are expecting him to be the typical tatted up bad boy you will be disappointed. I actually loved that about him. He was a contradiction. Although he was a bad boy at one time....right??? ;)

More of a 3.5 but decided to round up instead of down. It was a good story, but I felt that it wasn't as moving as other New Adult books, there were too many obvious spelling mistakes.
I really liked Kane, he along with Maw and Paw, saved the story. I loved Maw texting!:) Gotta love a bad boy who's close to his Maw and Paw!;)
Kelsey came across as really naive at times and at other times just plain stupid. I get why she wasn't as social as Jessi but her self deprecation got annoying. And the ending was really abrupt and I felt like there were too many unanswered questions in regard to what happened at the end.

But overall I would probably read another book by this author.
