It was not until the last three chapters that I discovered what this book was. It seemed mysterious and confused with the final chapters giving way to a dark clarity mirroring the characters Pascuals own progression. Incredibly affecting and pitch black, impossible to recommend.

“I’m not made to philosophize, I don’t have the heart for it. My heart is more like a machine for making blood to be spilt in a knife fight…”
