The book itself is great, although the content is obviously pretty dated...something about a towns worth of people being scared that a group of black men are going around stealing birds and generally making a nuisance of themselves doesn't sit right...it's very much of it's time I suppose.

I say, a dashed lot of racism, what?

I typically love Wodehouse, but this title is by far the worst & it’s all because of racism. The entire plot centers around it.
