I LOVED this series oh my gosh I am obsessed. I watched the anime on Netflix after and it only increased my love for this whole thing. Everything was executed perfectly and I hope hope hope the writer and Netflix continue this amazing project!!

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.
I think I liked this a little better than the first volume. Anzu's personality really starts to form in this volume when the first she seemed more focused on losing all her stuff. This volume also introduces a 3rd potential romantic trope, but I'm not sure how I feel about them. He's a rich kid who thinks he can win Anzu's affection by buying her stuff.
I feel like this series is trying to get the One Punch vibe by making fun of Shojo tropes in manga, but personally, I feel like it does not always quite hit the mark. Sometimes it does, but other times it just misses. I still think it's funny. It has moments that will make you laugh out loud.

This had to be one of the longest times for a manga I’ve read and it’s not even that I didn’t like it, I loved it and I wanted to binge read it but I didn’t have much time to get to read it. When I did have time to read, I was too tired after work so it was one of my slowest mangas ever lol :(((
But anyway, I loved it! I love Romantic Killer so much! Both the anime and manga just makes my heart so happy and I can’t wait for the next two volumes. Though I am sad that there’s only one season of the anime and only four volumes of the manga but in saying that, it is perfect as it is. I think this is one I will definitely rewatch and reread.

The jokes in this show consistently are so good and I just love how they're balanced out with these more heartfelt moments and the growing hint that all is Not Well in Tsukasa's past. I just personally do not find Koganei an enjoyable character, and I don't love the parts we have to spend with him.
