"Three women doctors begin five years training at Embarcadero County Hospital, San Francisco. The story, set against hospital and courtroom, chronicles their lives together and their struggle to outwit those determined that they don't succeed." (From Amazon)
I read during my Danielle Steel phase, but still was not a fan of it. Read this novel because of the tv movie based on the novel.

This book made me sad, the ending was bitter sweet, but I really enjoyed reading it.

Addictive. Completed it in two days. The plot of this book exploits not only just suspense, but also retrospective curiosity. Struggles of women are ingeniously portrayed. Kat's ending was unpredictable.
Nothing really does last forever.
"Women are judged inferior until we prove ourselves, and men are judged superior until they prove what assholes they are." <3 (Favourite one)

This is a story of three woman doctors working in a hospital having three different fates staring at them. There is no suspense or any thrilling element in this story which disappointed me. Rather this is a plain narration of events that led to a trail in the courtoom with an expected climax. Sheldon used his eye grabbing sensationalism to flip through the pages.
