this started off so good but the pacing was kinda off and the main character’s trash talk gave me the ick…plus the end was so incredibly rushed after the slow build of the rest of the book. to make things worse, the romance just wasn’t believable to me, it seemed to go from hate to love within two chapters, and the two main characters just seemed kinda juvenile and childish :(

Took me a while to actually get into it, but once I did I love it!
Only thing that bothered me is the repeated phrase “with the moons power” or variation of it. Like, we get it. You got powers

It was a good read, the extra .5 is because of the last 5% because of the cliffhanger and the possibility of the book becoming better. Otherwise, it would've been 3 and I was going to dnf-ed at 80%.
It has the kind of mythical creatures as characters that I'd have fun drawing or adding to my sketchbook so reading those descriptions really felt fun to do cus I imagined how I'd draw them.
I liked Dex and Gideon too but their reactions after she admitted she was Devereux were a bit annoying. I still can't quite place where Gideon is one of the gods or not.

Did not hate it at all, but was getting overshadowed by all my other reads and TBR and lowkey i couldn’t pay attention to what was happening in it. I just think it didn’t start out gripping enough for me to want to keep going:(

Really tried but gave up about 60% through. Boring, convoluted world building and magic system with a ton of plot holes. Pretty insufferable characters too
