Written by the niece of a close friend, this first book from Bex Mui is an interesting and authentic read about her journey to fully becoming who she is (and who she is, is an amazing human being) and is her gift to others on a similar path. Brava, Bex! ❤️

Love this book and plan to try to put some of the ideas into practice and reflect on what spirituality means to me!

A beautifully crafted book that feels like a balm in your hand. Blending personal storytelling with affirmation and ancestral witchy wisdom, House of Our Queer models the ways we can expand our understandings of spirituality. “The spiritual community I need is kind that centers the blessing of queerness, rather than one that celebrates a day or a month of being gay.” The intention of this book can be seen in its font, its pink colored pages, and in the blessings it imparts.

I liked this book - it’s written from a different perspective than I have read before, and having grown up queer and religious,  a lot of the stories and ideas resonated with me. With that said, I felt like the author’s ideas and convictions weren’t always 100% thought through and argued well.

This book has given me a lot to think about when it comes to my own spirituality and I’m glad I read it!
