Slow to start but towards the end weaved together a good mystery and story.

It was a solid thriller but a bit hard to follow at times

A proper review is coming when I process my thoughts

The Club is a dumb-dumb thriller set on a remote island that boasts an ultra-exclusive getaway for the very rich and celebrities. This resort has an Epstein-island vibe. Unfortunately, the book is dull and includes way too many points of view, none of which I cared about.

The story starts when the reader learns that a murder has occurred on the island. Then, 80% of the book is devoted to mediocre celebrity gossip. It was slow and didn't pick up until the end. It just didn't grab my attention, which is unfortunate because I was excited to read The Club.

I am always hooked by a celebrity thriller like this about the many indiscretions of the rich and famous. I loved the many POVs, the morally gray characters, and the many routes to vengeance. This was a fun, quick read that had me tuned in from the start.
