I liked this book a lot! Cousins Kate and Corbin switch apartments—Corbin heads to London while Kate goes to Boston. However, things take a turn for the worse for poor Kate, who is already suffering with anxiety caused by previous trauma. She finds herself in the middle of a suspicious death investigation involving her cousin's neighbor.

What I particularly appreciated about this book was its non-traditional storytelling approach. The narrative unfolds from multiple perspectives, offering different viewpoints on the same events. While I understand that this repetitive style might not be everyone's preference, I found it engaging as it explained and went deep into the characters' minds, explaining their motivations and why there are the way that they are. Although it made the timeline feel a bit confusing a few times.

While reading, I found the atmosphere effectively crafted, and I was genuinely creeped out by the eerie neighbors and the unfolding murders.

As for the ending, I'm not unsure if I liked what happened to the 'bad guys' or if I had hoped for a different ending for them.

Creepy thriller and you're not sure if you've got an unreliable narrator or not. Pretty good, maybe 3.5 stars.

This book had so much repetition in it. The author tells the story from enough viewpoints, it leaves no mystery. I would not recommend this book to anyone looking for a mystery or a thriller.

I enjoyed it. The cop parts in it didn't even bother me that much haha.

Reminded me of a modern reimagining of  Strangers on a Train
