K. Bromberg always gives you great chemistry with her characters and these two are hit their mark. The banter between Zane and Harlow is sexy and hilariously funny. I loved this book from beginning to end. Audio performances were on point and kept me into the story.

I loved this! Harlow sure gave him a run for the money. I found the supporting characters so enduring! He gave her the fairytale! ❤️

 An entertaining ride

This romance is entertaining from beginning to end. I enjoyed the circumstances the H/h found themselves in and was rooting for their HEA.

The first half, I am nearing to 4 stars. The story is promising. The plot is engaging. The characters develop well. The conversation and the banter is fun and flirty. Sexy. the teasing/ foreplay promising more.

But when I reach toward the end, I just disappointed. The story becomes stall and flat. The plot becomes dragging. So dragging that I fall asleep listening to the audio book. I want to see the story and the plot to develop more instead just sexual attraction between Harlow and Zane. Zane POV suddenly disappear. So I lost his connection. Only Harlow POV. And Harlow becoming a very needy annoying character. Her sassy character gone.

And Harlow relationship with her mother is quite disturbing. I mean the mother packed her condom when she figures out her daughter going into a trip with her boss. Ugh!

So stinking GOOD!!! I mean the ending felt a little like “No way this would never happen iRL.” - but that’s why it’s in a book.

A model has a run-in with a rude entrepreneur, and later seizes an opportunity to get back at him by tricking him into hiring her for a lucrative job as spokeswoman of his company. However, her cleverness backfires when they're forced to travel together in close quarters on a promotional tour—and pretend that they're dating.

I snagged this book on sale recently and am glad I did. I loved the chemistry of Harlow and Zane. The book had great pacing with no slow spots. The plot setup is a little complicated to explain in just a few sentences, but it totally works in the context of the story. There isn't a whole lot of action besides the development of their relationship, which sometimes bugs me, but it worked here because the story had a lot of material to work with between the forced proximity, fake dating, and enemies to lovers tropes. It also did a great job exploring the different reasons why both leads were suspicious of love, yet despite their resistance they slowly found themselves falling for each other.

On the downside, this book almost totally wasted the "only one bed" trope. There were a couple awkward moments at the start, but no accidental cuddling or anything fun. I don't care they're cliche plot devices, I want them!

Zane and his accent. Who could resist? Even when he’s a complete douchecanoe.
Harlow has tried to find her happily after ever. But every Prince Charming has turned out to be a frog. So when the arrogant Austrailian ruins her job interview she lets him have it. They find themselves in close quarters trying to convince a potential investor and the world that they are, in fact, in love. Of course being confined to a bus for months lights the fire that sparks on their first meeting.
Both of them are stubborn and a bit goofy but together they are amazing.
I loved Lo and Zane. Costas I could have thrown off a bridge.
Solid story. Good characters

2 stars. I struggled with this one a lot. In theory, it should’ve worked for me because it has enemies to lovers and faking dating. Those two tropes are my kryptonite but they just didn’t work for me here because I hated both main characters and the romance fell completely flat for me. It was all so frustrating and boring.

Harlow and Zane were both so incredibly annoying and childish. Zane in particular was very one dimensional. His excuse for everything was ‘I’m a man’ which is the laziest shit ever. Him ‘being a man’ was his only character trait and that was sad to see. He never grew on me and his development didn’t feel natural so them getting together in the end was really corny to me. Harlow was annoying and she was constantly jumping to conclusions and ready to fight for nothing. I was exhausted for her. Her development was a little bit better but not much but she never really grew on me either.

I don’t know, I just didn’t like anything about this except for the writing. I do want to read more by this author but this wasn’t a good one to start off with.
