This was a fun time, very cozy-mysteryesque. I liked looking back on the dates and how they went wrong, but I didn’t like the ending and the
forced romance between Gwen and the detective.
The big reveal ending of this felt a little corny, but still had a good time.

This book follows Gwen Turner, a die-hard skeptic of relationships who decides to give dating apps a whirl. The dates start with the classic small talk, but Gwen's life descends into chaos as each date dies shortly after meeting up with her. In a shocking turn of events, Gwen becomes the prime suspect in a serial killer case. Now, Gwen must do everything in her power to prove her innocence. Gwen's best friend Sarah is engaged to a man named Richard. Something about Richard seems fishy about Richard. It wouldn't surprise me if he were revealed as the culprit for the murders in the end. Richard appears to be framing Gwen.  Another person who was off-putting was Parker. Parker is one of Gwen's matches on the dating app. In this book everyone is a guilty person of interest until proven innocent Wow My jaw is still on the floor from the ending chapters. I would never have guessed that person to be the culprit.
.Overall, this book is a twisty wild ride from start to finish. No character in this book is black and white. There is so much grey area. This book is a huge game of "clue".

This book was a lot of fun. It starts out humorous but fairly sensible before becoming quite bonkers and over-the-top, and was quite an enjoyable read. It’s a little bit scattered in parts but I think you have to take it for what it is.

The mystery is quite good – I did work out who the culprit was but there were some very tense parts and there were some decent red herrings throughout. The final denouement did take me by surprise, actually, and whilst it got a little bit ridiculous it was well-written.

This isn’t a book to be taken too seriously but parts of it – those focusing on modern dating – did resonate with me and there were some funny bits in it. I don’t think I’d read something from this author again but this was a fun read.

This is a must read for anyone braving the single world, especially if you are on dating apps. It’s so relatable!

Was a bit skeptical about this one, especially after realising it was written by a man (with a female protagonist) but I actually really enjoyed it. It was surprisingly funny and had fantastic pacing that really kept me anticipating what was happening next. It’s snappy, and didn’t drag at all. It’s probably not supposed to be realistic and is dramatic for effect and in that, the book did not disappoint!

would've gotten a higher rating if the ending hadn't felt so lame. the beginning really had me and i was invested but the plot twist at the end was underwhelming and also really lame in my opinion 💀
